Differences Between VNCO and OVACC

VNCO and OVACC are two completely separate organizations with no connection to each other, differing in their roles, legitimacy, and objectives.

VNCO stands for the Vietnamese Community of Oregon, a legitimate organization with a long history—dating back to the post-1975 era—that represents the freedom, non-communist in the state of Oregon. The yellow flag with three red stripes of the Republic of Vietnam and the annual "Black April" National Day of Commemoration are recognized by the state and numerous cities. VNCO operates based on the long-standing historical and cultural traditions of the Vietnamese people.

OVACC stands for the Oregon Vietnamese American Cultural Center, an organization established in July 2023 and funded by the state government. OVACC is not an organization that represents the Vietnamese community in Oregon. OVACC operates in accordance with its own goals and plans.
